Beauty Review - Spectrum's Glam Clam

I have browsed the Spectrum website for more times than I would actually like to admit to, I think many of us have... right? But, I finally got around to purchasing their Glam Clam and I have been testing it out for a few weeks so I could let you know what I think.
The Glam Clam is one of Spectrum's brush sets that I kept looking at because it had a great range of brushes that I can use for application, blending and contouring on all the essential parts; eyes, face and lips. I kept asking myself who doesn't need even more brushes? In my case, I think it helps to have more brushes so I can go longer without cleaning them because I have so many to use (win win). Also, the clam itself appealed to me because I like mermaid-y stuff. The colours of the brushes themselves are beautiful! I had a moment when I first opened the set that I was just stroking my face with them repeating "they're so fluffy I'm gonna die" (Despicable Me reference if you have no idea there).
So, what do you get in the Glam Clam set? Here's a list with my views on them:

A01 - Large Domed Powder - Great for putting on setting powders and I tend to put my blush on with this one too. This is the most fluffiest brush ever!
A05 - Precision Blush - I use this for blush, or more often for putting on my powder highlighter because of it's angle (I use this a lot).
A06 - Large Fluffy Shader - I didn't really know what to do with this one at first because it was so large and I thought I wouldn't be able to put my eyeshadow on very well. But, after reading that it was a 'fluffy shader' I had an oooh moment! It actually works great for blending out your eyeshadow (I got there eventually).
A09 - Angled Eyeliner - I had never tried an angled brush before but was surprised at how easy they are to use. I use this one mostly to put darker shading on my eyes when I don't feel like wearing eyeliner (usually save eyeliner for night's out).
A15 - Lip Liner - Who doesn't need an extra lip liner brush? This one works great to get the lipstick product on my lips nice and smooth.
A17 - Angled Brow - This one is smaller than the angled brush I use but I like it anyway because my eyebrows aren't huge. I found this works well with a pomade brow product such as the one featured in my post here.
B01 - Flat Top Buffer - Putting my foundation on with this brush was a little difficult at first because the brush is simply so fluffy. Once I got used to it though, I just found I had to work a little more at buffing the foundation into my skin. I think I will use this more for buffing powders into my skin, not so much liquid foundation.
B03 - Buffing Concealer - I generally don't tend to 'buff' in my concealer with a brush, I use my fingers because it's a lot easier. But, this brush isn't too bad really if I wanted to. I would probably use it when I am going "all out" with my make up, like on night's out etc.
B04 - Small Angled Blender - I think I like this brush the best in terms of 'eye brushes' because it is really useful when putting on my eyeshadow, and because of how fluffy it is I can blend the product out really easy as I'm putting it on.
B06 - Tall Tapered Blender - This really is a 'tall' blending brush and probably one that I don't get the most use out of because I don't generally create that many eyeshadow looks on a day-to-day basis. I tended to use this brush to put some highlighter near my brow bone, and I find this works for me, so why not?
Okay, so there you have it! I actually really enjoy using these brushes and I just love how fluffy and soft they feel on my skin. They are synthetic too, so completely cruelty-free, and Spectrum are even vegan registered, now that's cool! The Glam Clam set comes in this beautiful lilac clam-shaped case and will keep your brushes safe (another plus there).

So, are you a fan of Spectrum brushes? Let me know your thoughts!
