On a recent shopping trip I was looking for some new make up (now there's a surprise) and I came across the new Sleek MakeUp counter in my local Boots store. I spent quite a lot of time testing out all their different products and I landed on their Highlighting Palette section and could not resist making a sneaky purchase. Check them out.
I ended up purchasing the Highlighting Palette in shade '
Solstice 032' and a single blush in shade '
Rose Gold 926'.
The Highlighting Palette comes in this beautiful golden packaging, and is one of the reasons why I chose this one. The highlight shades are highly pigmented and you only need the tiniest amount on your brush to create a fabulous glow. The picture above shows my fingers with the amount of product after just touching each shade. The back of the packaging recommends directions for use and which shade you can use where, but of course you can use it however you want too. I am so impressed with this product, and it even comes with a full-sized mirror in the lid and a brush to apply wherever you go!
The single compact blush is beautifully pigmented and has such a lovely golden shimmer. You can see the shimmer on the picture above. I love that this also comes with a full-sized mirror in the lid, making it great for travel. This is a great summer blush, and I cannot wait to use it when the sun fancies making an appearance. I have already used it for a night out and I am more than impressed with the shade! All I can think of now is which blush shade I want next, as there are 11 to choose from.
I tried to get some photographs that would do the highlighter justice because I actually looked like a shimmery mermaid in real life. I am sure you can imagine! I cannot wait to play with my new Sleek MakeUp goodies even more. I think I need some more outings as an excuse...

I keep seeing posts on it but it's never in stock when I go into Boots :( I really love their eyeshadow palettes and despite owning about 5 so far, I picked up their limited edition Wonderland palette! It was the last one on the shelf and looked so lonely! Ooops :) x
