Styling over-the-knee boots

I was very hesitant about buying a pair of over-the-knee boots because being only 5ft I thought they would be way too long and make me look even shorter, but I decided to try a pair on and was pleasantly surprised by how great they actually look. So, now over-the-knee boots are my new favourite footwear and ever since I got this pair of boots I have wanted to wear them with everything I possibly can. And, I thought I would compose a post of a few of my favourite outfits to wear them with and show you how versatile they can be.

Shirt: New Look, skirt: H&M, Boots: Primark

First of all, pairing over-the-knee boots with a skirt is such a useful thing to do if you don't want to wear tights, which I am not a fan of majority of the time. I just hate always having to pull them back up throughout the day. Also, this can be a quick alternative if you are always wearing jeans like I am (as shown in the next outfit).

Next, this is has to be my most favourite combination, over-the-knee boots and jeans, because it is such an easy and simple look to pull off. I feel like there was near to no effort with this outfit yet whilst I am wearing it I feel very glam. And, this was actually the outfit I wore on my birthday!

Lastly, this is one look where I got most of my compliments as I wore it out for a meal. Wearing my boots with a shirt dress is such a pretty look, and once again I was able to not wear tights because the majority of my legs were covered and kept warm. I think if I am going out in future I will definitely be wearing more outfits like this one, especially as the weather is getting colder.
