Key Beauty Products

A L'Oréal '3 for 2' offer was the perfect opportunity for me to top up on some of my favourite beauty products. And also the best opportunity for me to talk about these on my blog and share my views in case you are interested in trying them out.
The foundation is a key staple in my every day make up bag. I fell upon L'oréal's True Match foundation a couple of years ago because the shade N1 perfectly matched my pale skin tone. The consistency of the foundation is also the best thing for my skin too, it's not too thick and provides a high amount of coverage - it's also very buildable. This foundation also has 21 shades to choose from, which is quite a lot for a high street brand, so I am more than confident everyone can find their true shade.
Next, the L'oréal Nude Magique BB cream is something I have only recently started using more of to replace using my foundation each day. You know those days where you just don't feel like wearing make-up but you need to? Yeah I know! So that's when I've been using this BB cream to brighten up my face and even out my skintone. It feels very light on my skin and has a lovely smell. I try to only use a small amount to spread across my face because too much tends to make my face look a little orange. Less is always more!
Lastly, L'oréal's True Match Highlight in the Icy Glow/Rose Glacé Glow shade is the perfect travel highlighter to pop in your handbag. It's great to use as a highlighter but also to give you that little rosy glow to brighten up your face. I only use the tiniest amount and it definitely goes a long way. See the photograph below for the pink shimmery effect it leaves on your skin. Beautiful, right?
All the products mentioned in this post, are most definitely 'key items' that I will always replenish and keep in my make up bag. I would certainly recommend these make up products, and I am keen to hear your views too!

Have you tried any of these products, and what do you think?
Thanks for reading!

  4. I have that BB cream as well, and I love the coverage it gives, it's a lot more than other BB creams and easier to wear than foundation. Unfortunately I can't rebuy it as I'm going cruelty free - it really annoys me that L'Oreal aren't as I think they're the best drugstore makeup brand.
